Bromley Town Parks & Gardens
The Friends of Bromley Town Parks & Gardens are a small voluntary group keen to support our seven public parks & gardens in Bromley Town Centre. We are proud of our parks being so close to the town centre as they make it so different from many other similar town commercial centres. An enjoyable place to visit.
The objective of our organisation is to secure the preservation and enhancement of the parks and gardens adjacent to the centre of Bromley and which are environmentally contributory to the Town Centre Conservation Area; namely Library Gardens, Church House Gardens, Martin’s Hill and Queen’s Mead, Queen’s Garden, College Green, Civic Centre Grounds. In addition the Friends have the same objectives for areas adjacent, in particular the wooded slopes and verges of Beckenham Lane, the Valley School Field and Grounds, The ‘Bromley Oak’ and landscaped verges of Kentish Way, plus the Mill Pond (off Glassmill Lane).
