College Green

The area of open space comprises 1.5 hectares and is located close to the centre of Bromley and the Sainsburys supermarket and car park. College Slip links the Green to the High Street.  The Conservation Volunteers established a volunteer group here in 2013 named the Bromley Green Gym.  The aim of the group is to help maintain and enhance the open space which includes flower beds, paths with benches and seating areas plus an ancient mulberry tree. Improvements carried out have included a flower meadow, raised beds and a pergola.  The volunteers meet on site every Friday between 11 am and 2pm and although a separate group they fall within the remit of the Friends of Bromley Town Parks and Gardens.
