Hayes Parks
The Friends of Hayes Parks help to look after three areas of open space around Hayes village.
Old Rectory Gardens located at the junction of Pickhurst Lane and Hayes Street. These are the former gardens of Hayes Rectory and include ornamental gardens and tennis courts plus library and parking area.
The Knoll, a rectangular shaped open space between Pickhurst Lane and Ridgeway with many trees plus ornamental planting and ponds.
Husseywell Park, opposite the Knoll, were together formerly part of the estate of Hayes Place. The Park fronts Pickhurst Lane and includes a large pond with an island and a children's play area. Both the Knoll and Husseywell Park provide important habitats for birds and wildlife.
