Riverside Gardens

Riverside Gardens run alongside the River Cray between Orpington and St Mary Cray and are bounded by Cray Avenue and High Street.  The site is mainly level with grass banks either side of the river.  Many native and ornamental trees grow alongside the stream which cascades through the area split in two by Kent Road.  A tarmac path runs next to the stream which contains pools and small ponds and is a popular walkway for families and children.  The Friends of Riverside Gardens are combined with the Friends of Brook Park.
