Scadbury Park
Scadbury Park is in Chislehurst, part of the London Borough of Bromley, and is about 12 miles (19km) south-east of central London. The earliest records of Scadbury date from the 13th century when it was owned by the de Scathebury family.
The Friends of Scadbury Park is a non profit-making group. Membership is open to all. They promote and protect Scadbury Park as a quiet place for informal enjoyment and study, and help the London Borough of Bromley monitor the plants, animals and wildlife habitats of the Park. Members have opportunities to carry out practical conservation work through voluntary action to maintain and improve its biodiversity for the benefit of wildlife and the local community.
The Friends of Scadbury meet every Thursday morning and on the third Saturday morning of each month. Come to the Perry Street Car Park for a 10am start. The Friends carry out a variety of tasks and all are welcome. Tools are provided, please wear sturdy footwear.
